Your diet can effect your mood. Here’s why eating clean can increase your mental health




1.Get lot of sleep

Sleep has a tremendous effect on your mental health. Therefore, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine even recommends 8-10 hours of sleep due to a lack of sleep can contribute to depression and create you more irritable.



2.Maintain a appropriate diet

Your mental health is closely concerned to what you eat! Your brain is the busiest organ and it requires a mix of all the essential nutrients in order to stay healthy. Try to eat a balanced diet containing fruits, vegetables, lentils, grains and dairy.



3. Talk to someone about your matters or problems

If you’re in a trouble and need help, then reach out to a human who loves you and will understand your situation. Talking about your feelings and sharing your issues can improve your a mental health.



4.Keep yourself an active

To keep yourself active you can indulge in daily exercise and yoga. Doing so will increase  your self-esteem and help you to concentrate. You can even practice mindfulness, which increases the mood and eliminates stress.



5.Take a break

It’s a key to recover from stress, which in turn increases your performance and rejuvenates your mental health. A break could be a 5 -minute break, a lunch break, or going on a trip.



6.Set realistic aims 

I repeat, confirm  your goals are realistic! Reaching a aim can boost your confidence while setting yourself for the infeasible can hurt your mental health.



7. Do something that you enjoy

What do you like doing? Engaging in activities where you can enjoy yourself possibly means you’re achieving something that can increase your self-esteem.

Helping others can increase your mood and happiness. Many studies describe that doing things for others can have a profound impact on your overall psychological well-being. 



9.Accept who you are

When you feel down, you might become hard on a yourself, but valuing yourself is really vital to cope with bad mental health. We should treat ourselves with gentle  and respect.
