In today’s world, cars like  Ferrari, Bugatti or motorcycles like  Hayabusa and H2R are known for being super-fast on land. Speedy than the mentioned names are bullet trains, whereas the air is dominated by jets and rockets. However, few speed records are still not won by humankind.

No matter what persons do, nature stays a step ahead of humans. In this battle between nature and machines, we have compiled few speed records that are proudly flaunted by animals.

Speedy than Ferrari 

We all recognized Ferraris for being super-fast machines. However, when it comes to a 0 to 100 kilometre per hour sprint, a cheetah is speedy than most Ferraris. Ferraris may have better top speeds, but a cheetah hits a speed of 103 kilometres per hour in 3 seconds; a record several Ferraris cannot boast of.

Peregrine Falcon’s diving speed

In the world of vehicles, the Suzuki Hayabusa is alias the Peregrine Falcon. However, here we are discussing about the actual bird Peregrine Falcon. It may not have a best top speed, but when it dives, it gains a massive speed of 389 kilometres per hour.

This speed record was achieved by a Peregrine named Frightful in 2005. There are many super cars, hyper cars and sports motorcycles in the world that cannot reach  the diving speed of the Peregrine Falcon.

A Golden Eagle’s top speed

Another bird that has an unbelievable top speed is the Golden Eagle. The hunter of the sky can arrive a top speed of 321 kilometres per hour, making it speedy than the 2022 BMW M5 CS. For the unversed souls, the M5 CS is one of the speediest cars from the BMW stable, with a top speed of 304.1 kilometres per hour. With 321 kilometres per hour of top speed, the Golden Eagle defeats many fast cars with billion-dollar price-tags.

Other fast animals with unbelievable speed

Apart from the Peregrine Falcon and Golden Eagle, birds like  White-Throated Needletail Swift, Eurasian Hobby and Mexican Free-Tailed can fly at around 160-170 kilometres per hour. Last but not the least, in water, the Swordfish can hit a speed of 97 kilometres per hour; way speedy than submarines and many ships.
