The Government of Gujarat on Friday declared the list of 69 unreserved castes(that don’t get advantages of reservation systems in jobs and education), a notification for which was published on December 6. Out of 69 castes, 42 belong to Hindus, 23 Muslims and 3 from other faiths. The list was required , to make clear, who are acceptable to take benefits of the schemes declared by Bin Anaamat Aayog of Gujarat government, meant for the part of society that don’t get reservation advantages in jobs and education.
The Gujarat government has declared a list of non-reserved castes on Friday. This list has been prepared to provide advantage to the community in the non-reserved category. There are 69 castes in the this list. All these castes will be provided the benefit of the support declared by the government by counting them as non-reserved. In this respect, a circular has been released from the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Government of Gujarat on December 6, 2018.

Of the 69 non-reserved castes announced by the government, 42 are from Hindus, 23 from Muslim and three castes of other religions are contained . These are the castes that have not been contained in SC, ST, or OBC.
